| Bio: | I used to draw comics a lot (as opposed to studying, working, cooking, etc.). The big one was Avalon, a daily webcomic about high schoolers (and all of the things high school entails, which is *not* academics). Another one was for Carleton University's student newspaper, called Cartoon University. Finally, a comic I tried drawing to fill the void during Avalon's hiatus was Two Eighty, a mostly-pointless student housing comic. I have a strange taste in music. That is, I tend to like "common" stuff, but nobody else I know does. Bands like Rush, Depeche Mode, Enigma, The Corrs, Great Big Sea, Frozen Ghost (heh), etc. '80s music r0xx0rz. About lj-cut: I typically do not use lj-cut in my entires. I will tend to just slap artwork up willy-nilly, and naturally, the reason is so that people will see it. The trouble with lj-cut is that it makes it easy for people to not see the artwork, and ultimately it results in the artwork getting ignored. I will lj-cut things of a sensitive or volatile nature (ie. nudity), but my LJ is never going to be "work safe", and it will occassionaly kill your Friends Page layout. Please be aware of what you're getting into when you add me to your friends list. About LJ "Friends": I seem to be in the minority on this point, but I don't use LiveJournal's "Friends" function as an indicator of my relationships. When I add someone to my Friends List, it is because I enjoy reading that person's LJ entries (which subsequently appear all in one convenient place, my Friends Page). If I remove someone from my Friends List, it's because I no longer take interest in what that person often posts. I do not expect that everyone on my Friends List must add me to theirs. Nor will I necessarily add you to my Friends List if you add me to yours (but still, I encourage you to add me to your list if you want to). I do not post Friends-Only entries, so you're not missing out on anything (yes, at one point I did post a few Friends-Only entries, but I later realized that was a stupid idea, and I made them public). If you are not on my Friends List, it is not an indication that I hate you or think poorly of you. I apologize if this makes me seem like a total jerk, but some people have made false assumptions from my Friends List before, and I don't want anyone to misinterpret anything in the future.
